Meet the Owner

I would like to take this opportunity to tell you about my company, Muck Movers, LLC. We are horse owners helping horse owners. You will deal directly with me, Glenn Tuttle, the owner of the company.

Glenn Tuttle

I have lived in Saratoga Springs since 2001, and grew up in Argyle, NY, in Washington County where I owned horses from the time I was 12. During my teen years I was active in 4H, and participated in local horse shows. While attending Alfred University I was a member of the equestrian team.

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Management and have completed Master’s level coursework in Occupational Health and Safety. During my adult life, I worked in the healthcare and telecommunications fields as well as sales and marketing.

I always wanted to own a business that would allow me to provide a service that would benefit the customer while enjoying my work environment. My continued involvement in the horse industry, and my desire to work within the industry lead me to see the need for a dedicated manure removal service. Many horse owners had been stockpiling for years. Many just needed regular removal but found garbage companies too expensive to use on a regular basis. After months of talking to horse and farm owners, and working with Cornell Cooperative Extension-Equine, I realized I had found an equine business that this area needed. That is when Muck Movers, LLC was formed.

My belief in excellent customer service and responsive business practices is the driving force behind my commitment to my customers. It is this same responsiveness that helped to create an additional service, Greener Pastures Equine Mortality Service. Greener Pastures will provide respectful mortality services for horses that have passed away.

In my spare time, I enjoy attending my son’s sporting events as well as spending time caring for my two horses with my wife.
